Dear Geographers/Geoscientists and all the Researchers,
Greetings from Nepal Geographical Society.

Nepal Geographical Society (NGS) is going to organize series of webinars from different crosscutting contemponary issues from geographic perspective. University faculties,professional geographers/geoscientists,students and researchers working in different sectors are expected to join the events.
In this regard, NGS invites all interested professional geographers/geoscientists, researchers, and students to join the scientific webinar series of Nepal Geographical Society. The first episode of NGS webinar series will be held on 8 August 2022, and Dr. Bhagawat Rimal is the event presenter. Dr. Rimal will share his research findings about Evidencing Climate Vulnerability of Land-Water Partitioning using Remote Sensing Technology. Details of the webinar are

The Himalayan Review is an annual publication of the society

The first volume of the Himalayan Review was published in 1968 as a special issue to commemorate the 21st International Geographical Congress held in New Delhi in December 1968. Since then NGS has been publishing the Himalayan Review quite regularly. Several talk programs, seminars, workshops, conferences both national and international level have been organized by the society. It also organized several Quiz Contest, and book and map exhibition in the country.
